Junior AI-ML Software Developer

We are looking for a Junior Software Developer to support the development of our corporate Generative AI solution (Amper IA), which entails integrating LLMs, programming internal web-based interface, maintaining an API for code development assistance and process automation.

Furthermore, the professional will contribute to the development of solutions that process and analyse large volumes of data, supporting GenAI and machine learning use cases and helping create innovative, intelligent products for the aeronautics, IoT and energy sectors.

What will be your main duties?

• Developing and maintaining features for LLM-based chat interface of Amper IA.
• Integrating large language models with APIs, building small services, scripts, and automations..
• Work with embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval pipelines to improve the quality of AI-assisted answers.
• Help analyse Amper IA platform usage, model performance, response quality, and user feedback.
• Supporting the creation of features for AI-assisted software development.
• Working with internal users to understand needs and turn ideas into practical features.

What do you need to join us?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields.
• 1-2 years of professional experience in software engineering;
• Participation in at least one AI technology developments project.
• Experience in Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, chat tools, automation.
• Programming languages: C/C++, C#, Python.
• Operating Systems / Platforms: Linux, Windows.
• Databases: SQL (such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB or other).
• Analytical skills and problem-solving ability, proactivity and willingness to learn, good communication and teamwork skills.
• Native Portuguese or Spanish.
