Madrid, May 21, 2026. – Grupo Amper, through its subsidiary WindWaves, specialized in advanced manufacturing of complex industrial structures for the naval and offshore wind sectors, has been awarded two new contracts by Navantia linked to one of the strategic Special Modernization Programs (PEM) for the Spanish Navy: the F-110 Frigate Program.
The contracts include manufacturing, structural integration and assembly works for steel blocks and piping systems for the last three frigates of the series: F-113 “Menéndez de Avilés”, F-114 “Luis de Córdova” and F-115 “Barceló”.
Specifically, Amper will carry out the manufacturing and assembly of structural blocks and integration units corresponding to different critical sections of these vessels, including advanced prefabrication processes, slipway integration and assembly of highly complex singular elements.
Additionally, the company will execute the manufacturing and assembly of piping systems and associated modules for different operational areas of the frigates, participating in various phases of the shipbuilding and outfitting process.
These contracts consolidate Grupo Amper’s position as a key Navantia partner in Spain’s major naval Defense Programs.
