Madrid, 22th October 2025- Amper has strengthened its management team with the appointment of León Bitar Crespo as Director of International Operations.
Bitar, who has extensive professional experience in the defence and aerospace sectors, will support the Group’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), Francisco López, and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Manuel de Oliveira, in managing operations and international expansion at a global level.
Bitar has nearly three decades of experience in international consulting and operations management, leading highly complex industrial and technological projects, particularly in the defence and aerospace sectors.
During his time as Vice President of Defence at Everis Aerospace and Defence (now NTT Data), he was responsible for the identification, development and execution of international defence systems projects, including the coordination of multinational teams and specialised technical training programmes in various countries in the Middle East, Europe, Asia and America.
His career also includes solid experience in strategic consulting, organisational excellence and institutional transformation, having worked with organisations in Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern countries, as well as collaborating with leading global companies. He has participated in excellence programmes with organisations such as BMW, Bosch, BP and Saudi Aramco.
Bitar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Sciences from the Autonomous University of Madrid and is an EFQM assessor.
With this addition, Amper strengthens its management team for the development of its business in the defence sector, both nationally and internationally.
