Madrid, 29 October 2025-. Grupo Amper has announced the promotion and appointment of Jorge Santos Fonseca as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), responsible for the Group’s information security.
In his new position, Jorge Santos will lead the strategy for protecting the company’s digital assets, a fundamental pillar for the sustainable growth of Grupo Amper.
A priority objective under the CISO’s leadership will be to ensure adherence to the highest international IT security standards. His experience will be essential in complying with critical certifications such as ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System) and the National Security Scheme (ENS), ensuring that all the group’s systems operate with the maximum guarantees of protection and resilience.
With his in-depth knowledge and previous experience in the Group, Jorge Santos is perfectly positioned to lead digital risk management and strengthen the cybersecurity culture throughout the organisation. His role will be key to integrating security as a cross-cutting element in all Amper Group processes and business areas.
