Madrid, 24 October 2025. The ATLAS 25 joint exercise ended yesterday at the Médano del Loro Training and Firing Range (Huelva), after four intense days that served to test the coordinated response capacity of the Armed Forces and State Security Forces. The Spanish company Amper played a prominent role, successfully deploying its state-of-the-art defence and national security systems in a highly demanding environment.
Under the leadership of the Chief of Defence Staff (JEMAD), organised by the Manoeuvre Support Command and directed by the 71st Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment of the Army, ATLAS 25 has succeeded in integrating units from the Army, Navy, Air Force and Space Force, together with members of the Civil Guard and the National Police Force, thereby strengthening their interoperability.
The exercise served as a showcase for Amper to demonstrate its technological capabilities to the participants. The functionalities of its anti-drone system (C-UAS) for deployment security were explained in detail, demonstrating its potential for the detection and neutralisation of unmanned aircraft. The company also presented its IMSI Catchers communication blocking systems, highlighting their importance for radio spectrum control in the area of operations.
A crucial element of its participation was the deployable power system, which guaranteed autonomy and uninterrupted power supply to critical equipment in the field, proving to be a robust and reliable solution for scenarios without prior infrastructure.
Amper’s assessment following the conclusion of the manoeuvres is very positive. “Being part of ATLAS 25 has been an excellent opportunity to validate the effectiveness of our solutions in a realistic and complex scenario. Direct collaboration with professionals from our Armed Forces and State Security Forces is the best way to continue innovating and responding to their needs. We are proud of the results and our contribution to improving our country’s defence capabilities,” said Manuel de Oliveira, Commercial Director of the Amper Group.
With the completion of ATLAS 25, another step has been taken in preparing the joint forces to face current security challenges, where technology and the ability to act in a coordinated manner have once again been confirmed as strategic pillars.
