• The agreement will drive the development of strategic technological and industrial capabilities in Spain, strengthening the Group’s international positioning in dual-use mission-critical communications.

  • COFIDES’s investment will be used to boost Teltronic’s exports.

Madrid, 28 October 2026 – Grupo Amper has reached an agreement with COFIDES under which the latter will contribute €50 million from the Foreign Investment Fund (FIEX) to participate in the acquisition of the Teltronic Group, a company specialising in mission-critical communications solutions.

The transaction will be carried out through a capital increase in Amper Comunicaciones Críticas y Tácticas (Amper CCT), a Grupo Amper subsidiary that will execute the acquisition of Teltronic. Through FIEX, COFIDES will acquire a 32% stake in the company.

This agreement marks another milestone in Grupo Amper’s strategy to grow and strengthen its industrial and technological capabilities in the field of Defence and National Security, particularly in the critical and tactical communications segment. The integration of Teltronic will consolidate Amper’s leading position in Spain and establish the company among Europe’s major players in the sector.

The acquisition of Teltronic will strengthen Amper’s position in a technological field of growing strategic importance, expanding its capabilities to provide advanced, secure and resilient communications solutions for mission-critical environments.

This acquisition represents a transformational transaction for Amper, offering significant technological, industrial and geographical synergies. It is expected to generate substantial commercial, technological and operational synergies, strengthen the Group’s presence in strategic markets such as Brazil and Mexico, and facilitate its expansion into other high-potential markets, including the United States and Canada.

The acquisition of the Teltronic Group, previously announced to the market by Amper in May and June of this year, is expected to close in the coming days.

COFIDES’s investment aims to increase production capacity in Spain and boost Teltronic’s exports. COFIDES’s entry into the share capital of Amper CCT marks a further step in consolidating the strategic alliance between the two entities, aimed at supporting the Group’s growth and internationalisation while strengthening its industrial and technological capabilities in strategic sectors.

COFIDES is already a partner of Amper in Electrotécnica Industrial y Naval (Elinsa), a subsidiary specialising in energy management and storage. It is also expected to become a shareholder in Offshore WindWaves, a Grupo Amper company dedicated to the offshore wind business, in the near future.

Amper’s Chief Executive Officer, Enrique López, stated: “COFIDES joining our Critical and Tactical Communications business as a strategic partner represents significant support for our industrial project and growth strategy. The acquisition of Teltronic will enable us to establish one of Europe’s leading players in dual-use critical and tactical communications, strengthening Spain’s technological and industrial capabilities and contributing to Spain’s and Europe’s technological sovereignty and strategic autonomy.”

COFIDES’s Chairwoman and Chief Executive Officer, Ángela Pérez, highlighted: “Through this transaction, COFIDES is supporting Amper’s investment and growth in the mission-critical communications segment, facilitating the acquisition of Teltronic, a company that combines innovation, proprietary technology and manufacturing capabilities with an international presence and a clear ambition to continue expanding globally.”
