Madrid, September 1, 2026Navacel, an Amper Group company specialized in the management of high-complexity equipment and structure fabrication projects for the Offshore Wind and offshore Oil & Gas sectors, has been awarded a new international contract for the fabrication of six suction anchors for a gas production project in Mozambican waters.

The scope of the contract includes the procurement of materials, steel fabrication, welding, machining and painting, and will involve approximately 24,000 working hours, with delivery scheduled for mid-2027.

Suction anchors are a critical component of mooring systems for offshore infrastructure, ensuring the stability and safety of installations exposed to demanding marine conditions throughout their operational life.

With this new contract award, Amper consolidates its position as a specialized supplier of highly complex structures and further strengthens the confidence placed by international clients in its industrial and engineering capabilities.

Furthermore, the project represents another step forward in the internationalization of the Amper Group, adding Mozambique to its geographical footprint and expanding its presence in a strategic market for the development of energy infrastructure.

This contract award reaffirms the Group’s strategy of promoting high value-added industrial capabilities and continuing to strengthen its presence in international projects related to the energy sector and focused on the development and protection of critical infrastructure.
