Madrid, July 30, 2026 – Amper has acquired the productive business unit of Freqcon GmbH (“Freqcon”), a German company specialized in energy management and energy storage equipment, including its assets and technological capabilities.
The transaction has been completed for a total amount of €1.7 million, within the insolvency proceedings affecting this company.
The acquisition reinforces Amper’s growth strategy in the Defence and National Security sector, particularly in the field of energy resilience for critical civilian and military infrastructures, through the incorporation of technological and industrial capabilities that complement those already available within the Company.
Freqcon incorporates its proprietary technology platform for power conversion systems, integrating hardware, software and energy control systems, backed by a solid track record in the development and integration of tailored solutions for different industries. The transaction further strengthens Amper’s position as a technology company, manufacturer and systems integrator delivering high value-added end-to-end solutions.
Furthermore, the integration of Freqcon complements Amper’s industrial capabilities in power electronics and electrical equipment, strengthening its capacity to develop, manufacture and integrate solutions that enhance the energy resilience of critical civilian and military infrastructures.
The acquisition also provides Amper with a platform to accelerate its growth in Germany and Central Europe, expanding its access to strategic markets and strengthening its position in high-growth segments related to critical civilian and military infrastructures.
