Amper will integrate Zeleros’ talent and technology, including 18 highly qualified employees who will be led by its current CEO, David Pistoni.

Madrid, May 25, 2026. – The Amper Group has acquired the assets and technological capabilities of Zeleros, a Spanish company specialized in advanced electrification, energy storage, and high-power electromagnetic systems, thereby strengthening its positioning in the Defense and National Security market, including energy resilience and onboard systems.

The transaction was completed for a total amount of approximately one million euros, within the framework of Zeleros’ voluntary insolvency proceedings. The offer submitted by the Amper Group, which received a favorable report from the insolvency administrator and the support of the employees forming part of the production unit, includes the incorporation of 18 highly qualified employees who, in line with Amper’s inorganic growth strategy, will be led by the current CEO of Zeleros, David Pistoni.

This transaction enables the company to incorporate engineering, technological, and integration capabilities in strategic areas such as energy storage, high-power batteries, electric powertrains, power electronics, and intelligent asset monitoring. In this way, Amper strengthens its value proposition in dual-use technologies applied to critical infrastructures and platforms.

Among the integrated capabilities are technologies focused on the design and manufacturing of advanced battery systems for auxiliary, propulsion, and high-power applications, as well as solutions related to advanced mobility, platform electrification, and energy systems applied to naval, transportation, and defense environments.

The integration particularly strengthens the Amper Group’s capabilities in the field of Energy Management and Storage through technologies associated with the design, integration, and monitoring of advanced energy systems, including intelligent remote asset supervision platforms and advanced battery management solutions.

Likewise, the transaction incorporates technological capabilities related to high-power electromagnetic systems and advanced linear motors, an area in which Zeleros has developed research, design, and technological validation activities associated with electromagnetic launch platforms for military naval platforms and advanced electric propulsion systems.

Zeleros’ R&D plan also includes developments related to high-power batteries, advanced electrification platforms, proprietary battery management systems (BMS), remote monitoring solutions, and technologies aimed at dual-use applications in advanced mobility and defense.

Amper’s CEO, Enrique López, stated that “with this integration, the company continues strengthening its dual-use industrial and technological capabilities, contributing to Spain’s strategic autonomy both in the field of Defense and National Security and in Energy Independence.”

For his part, Zeleros’ CEO, David Pistoni, stated that “we are very pleased to become part of the Amper Group in order to strengthen its capabilities in the markets in which it operates, where we expect to provide significant value over the coming years as a result of all the assets generated during these years.”

For this acquisition, Amper received legal advice from Cuatrecasas.
