- The milestone, achieved together with iBross for the Saudi clients NERA and SANS, certifies the technical standards of a key solution for advanced aeronautical communications in emergency scenarios.
Madrid, July 23, 2026 – The Aeronautical Communications team at Amper Group has successfully completed a key milestone within the international project to supply a Mobile Air Traffic Control (ATC) Tower for its clients NERA and SANS in Saudi Arabia.
Earlier this month, the Amper team travelled to Slovakia, where the operational integration was carried out together with its partner iBross, to perform and successfully complete the rigorous Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
Successfully passing these tests marks a decisive step, certifying full compliance with the demanding technical and operational requirements for mobile air navigation and air traffic control solutions in the Saudi market.
This achievement moves the project into its final development phase, bringing the delivery and deployment of an infrastructure specifically designed to enable advanced communications capabilities one step closer. The solution has been developed to operate in emergency and contingency scenarios, where rapid response, tactical flexibility, and uninterrupted operational continuity are critical.
Reaching this important strategic and industrial milestone reinforces Amper’s presence in the Middle East air navigation market and has been made possible thanks to the commitment, expertise, and outstanding coordinated work of all the teams involved.
