The Amper Group reports that, as of August 30, Shanghai Electric Group Co. Ltd. has awarded Nervión Industries, an industrial subsidiary of the Amper Group, the construction of the salt storage tanks of the technology plant 100 MW central tower solar concentration for the world’s largest solar complex in Dubai. The amount contracted for the direct execution of Nervión is 13 million dollars plus taxes, in the next 12 months. Phase IV of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, owned by DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) uses hybrid technology; 250MW of photovoltaic, a central tower of 100 MW and three parabolic trough plants of 200 MW each. This project reaffirms the leadership position of the Amper industrial vertical in the development of salt tanks in solar thermal plants, through projects with ample margin and high added value, which also allows the Group to open a market with a new client and in a new geographical area.
